Castle e il numero "47".

So, I read a post a few weeks ago about how there is a story behind the number 47 being frequently seen in Castle - it said something about it being an inside joke between writers and I decided to do some research on it and I thought I’d share what I found with you guys.

So it turns out it started at Pomona College. They believed that the number 47 occured in nature more than any other number and there was a professor who supposedly described how all numbers are equal to 47. Anyway, Joe Menosky, a writer for Star Trek: The Next Generation, attended Pomona College and was introduced to these beliefs. So when he became a writer for Star Trek, he shared these stories and beliefs with his colleagues and as a result, the number 47 occured in various forms throughout Star Trek: The Next Generation and then also its spin-offs and the 2009 film. Abrams, who produced the film, introduced it into his others shows including Fringe and Revolution. I guess that other producers/writers on those shows also work on Castle and have shared the stories there.
