People’s Choice Awards 2016 Announces Key Voting And Show Date

Consider this your save the date!

People’s Choice Awards 2016 will air live on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016 on CBS.

The kickoff to the 2016 awards season, the show will be broadcast from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Mark Burnett will return for the seventh consecutive year as executive producer.

“Every year we set the bar higher on how we can deliver the biggest show that engages fans,” said Burnett in a statement. “Last year the fans cast hundreds of millions of votes to choose the winners. In my seventh year we are looking forward to entertaining the fans and engaging them like never before.”

Jane Mun and Fred Nelson will serve alongside Burnett as exec producers, while Kimmie H. Kim will co-exec produce the telecast.

The People’s Choice Awards is the only major awards show where fans choose the nominees and winners across multiple genres of movies, music, and television. So you should probably block out some time on your calendar to vote, vote, and vote for your favorites (don’t worry, we won’t tell!).

Voting to determine the nominees begins Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2015 (10:00 AM, ET) at www.PeoplesChoice.com through Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 (11:59 PM, ET).

The nominations announcement press conference, to be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, will reveal the final nominees in all categories and launch the second phase of voting on the website and social platforms. Voting to determine the winners will remain open until Thursday, December 3, 2015. Voting for the Favorite New TV Comedy and Drama categories will begin Friday, December 4, 2015 and run throughout the first hour of People’s Choice Awards 2016 on January 6.

Here’s a breakdown of the key dates:

Nominee Voting: Tuesday, Oct. 13 — Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015

Press Conference: Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015

Finalist Voting: Tuesday, Nov. 3 — Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015

Voting for Favorite New TV Comedy And Drama Categories: Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 — throughout the first hour of the People’s Choice Awards 2016 on Wednesday, Jan. 6.

Non so se qualcuno già lo sapeva (io no), ma, in pratica, dopo aver votato, si può far scorrere indietro la "barra" viola in alto, che indica le varie categorie, e tornare a votare per quelle interessate.
